Functional Upper Body

Ready for an upper body workout that also builds functional strength? For this workout, we will start with two strength based movements then progress to a killer EMOM.

The goal is to build functional strength while improving your body composition.

Workout

1. Barbell Bridge Press 5 sets x 8 to 12 reps
*Squeeze that chest at the top, drive those hips up, squeeze those glutes, and take your traditional bench press to the next level.

2. Barbell Row 5 sets x 8 to 12 reps
*Hold a strong hinge, drive those elbows back bringing that bar up to your body.

3. 20 minute EMOM
- Double Kettlebell Clean & Press x 5 reps
- Burpee Pull Up x 5 reps
